KTM 390 Adventure to be Launched in 2019

KTM

KTM has recently confirmed that the much awaited 390 Adventure will make its world debut in 2019.
Finally, a good news for all those who are eagerly waiting for the KTM 390 Adventure. The Austrian motorcycle manufacturer has recently confirmed Overdrive that the much-awaited entry-level adventure bike from KTM will make its official debut in 2019. The company has recently showcased its updated 1290 and 1090 adventure family at the ongoing 2016 Intermot motor show in Cologne, Germany and has plans to introduce the new Super Duke and 2017 KTM 390 Duke at EICMA in Milan next month.

The all-new KTM 390 Adventure is most likely to come with long travel suspension, a taller windscreen and a tall seat height. KTM calls the new bike belonging to the travel enduro category. The company says that the success of the KTM Adventure range is due to the simple reason that all its bigger capacity adventure bikes use Enduro based frames instead of road biased ones.

The engine in the new 390 Duke Adventure will hopefully be the same that will propel the 2017 KTM 390 Duke. The present generation KTM 390 Duke draws its power from a 373cc, single cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that comes mated to a six-speed transmission. The fuel injected motor cranks out a maximum power output of 43 bhp along with a peak torque of 35 Nm. The 2017 model of the 390 Duke will hopefully get a retuned engine in order to extract more power and performance. Also Read: New 2017 KTM 390 Duke global debut at EICMA 2016 in November

According to the recent spy shots and videos, the 2017 KTM 390 Duke will come feature loaded with multiple elements like ride-by-wire technology, TFT coloured screen on the instrument console and three riding modes that are easily the segment first. Besides, the motorcycle also gets unique split LED headlamp section that is also seen on the new KTM adventure family showcased at Intermot 2016. Having said that, all these features will hopefully be carried forward to the KTM 390 Adventure as well along with the new  ones that the company must have planned for the new adventure baby.
